Taiwan Chapter

 Mission Statement

The mission of MCN Taiwan is to serve as a bridge between Taiwan and international society, and at the same time, to provide a forum for local museum professionals and organizations that are engaged in the practice and theory of digital archive program. The chapter also aims to expand MCN membership in Asia by sharing experiences and successes from MCN community and the "Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Programs" (TELDAP). Ultimatelyl, MCN Taiwan hopes to become a primary representative and even a home base of MCN-Asia for interchange and communication on related topics.

Communication

Except communicating through the MCN-L listserv with "[MCN Taiwan:]" in the subject line, MCN Taiwan also holds conferences annually and training programs regularly to foster the development of the digitization of museums and cultural heritage institutions in Taiwan.
